Dear XXXXXXX,

Thank you for your mail. It is great to hear from an avid reader. My apologies that we have not put out an issue since the Natsu basho. I guess, put simply: we need more contributors. If I had a big enough team, the magazine could continue as was.

There was one night in April this year where I nearly collapsed because I was doing my day job like a maniac and then sacrificing precious little sleep time to write SFM articles. I vowed not to let that happen again. I can't let a volunteer job damage my health no matter how much I like sumo. After 4.5 years of life in Japan, I've burned out. It's making me irritable, demotivated and lackadaisical. I'm trying my best to rebalance my life away from writing hours and hours for little or no pay.

Of a group of writers comes together and says they want to be my team for SFM, I will happily listen. But otherwise I need more free time just to relax and be with my family.

Any thoughts?

Chris
