Und auch dieses Mal kommt kurz vor Beginn des Bashos noch der Überblick über die teilnehmenden Teams, zum Jahresstart mal mit ein paar Statistiken und Fakten. Neu beim Teamspiel sind Schnappamawashi im Tomoe-Beya sowie Leonishiki und Wamahada im Chikarayama-Beya unter Neu-Oyakata Ganzohnesushi. Metzinowaka gab diese Stelle auf und kämpft jetzt für das Tokitsuhana-Beya. Für die Neulinge ein herzliches Willkommen.
